Sew far, no good.

ONE of the front bodice bones in my gown is too long. I'm boggling over the assymetry.

So...

Pick out buttonhole stitching on short side and use longer bones?

Or

Buy shorter bones and take up on longer side at waist?

Cut the bone that is too long and file it?

I was going to say the same thing. Seems like that'd be the easiest thing to do, unless the gown is assymetical for other reasons as well.

I'm afraid that might cut through the fabric. I ran down to the store and got two new bones. (Local fabric store now carries the white steel bones in pairs)

Gotta think about just getting a roll of the steel and a jar of the sealant for the ends, though.
