Ugh... that is such a peeve and to think that these actions are being supported on such a large scale... Oh My... jaw drops!

I have witnessed it on a smaller scale though, people rounding up others on a letter writing campaign to the point of sharing/writing letters en masse to make sure they were all covering the same points (for those who didn't know what to write). Don't know how many people actually sent in letters at that point, but the fact that it is viewed as an acceptable method blows my mind!

Oh well... as long as they leave me out of it... though if prompted, I'd be happy to share my disgust.

I almost worry that I too could have received awards in this manner, but since it really doesn't change anything for me... *shrugs*
