The form is wonderful in that it is squishy, but it is only just so squishy. For about a year and a half I had used one of the covers that had been fitted to a semi-corseted shape. For any period work I would then put the corset on over that, and go to.. But the bust line just doesn't cooperate.

Extra covers is an option, one I also went for and bought an extra cover for the same purpose you're thinking. After the struggle getting it on - I literally sat on it in several spots, swore at it repeatedly, and at one point in time John walked into the room to find me laying on it and panting (his expression was priceless) - I decided rather quickly it could keep the one it had on, and I'd manage.

I sliced off about 80% of the breasts.. they were HUGE. Disproportionately so. When I opened the box on getting it, it was "Wow, I didn't know they were sending me Madonna!" They don't lift when corseted, only squish - so you have to adjust for that factor as well. Add in that they only squish so far, and you can end up with immovable bricks if you're going down to a small cup size.

For all that those are negatives, I still love it to death, and it's still far better than the standard plastic models.
