OK, so it happened yesterday, but I really didn't get time to share.

Leave it to men. John was scheduled to go on Anneliese's class trip to the local Aquatic Center (think municipal indoor water park - slide, tide pool, other stuff). It occurs to him yesterday that maybe, just maybe, he should check and see if his swim trunks still fit, having lost around 50-60lbs.

He put them on. They fell off.

Guess who had to run to Meijer's at 8 AM to buy new trunks?

Considering he went unsupervised, he didn't do badly. They're quite stylish, brown with baby blue trim.

At least he didn't discover this as he was inadvertantly showing more of himself than he had intended -at- the pool. :D

True, though at worst I suspect he'd have noticed in the locker room. Mom wanted to know why he hadn't just grabbed a safety pin. ;-) Ummm.... way more extra room than a saftey pin could account for.
