Stumbled across some just slightly post-period pictures that may help me figure out construction by seeing what the styles were headed to.
Winter Scene
I sort of like the lady in the left foreground - looks like a yellow bodice with a curved edge over a blue skirt with black guards.
Scene on the Ice
Hmmm, I see a black partlet, pointed in the back. Also a heart-shaped standing collar. And one of the white linen with black stripe headscarves.
Color version of the lady from Enkhuizen found in the artlce by Griet van Duine
Hey, a period exersaucer. ;-)
Love the lace pillow and the baby thingy.
Another lacemaker
hey, wafer-making!
Market scene
Nice detail on the black wool cloak
Definitely a coat - but also post-period and probably southern. Hmmmm....
This lady is described as specifically in Frisian dress. It'd be nice to find a larger image, especially since the dress looks red. ;-)
A Tailor's Workshop, though we're getting very late here, indeed.
More later. ;-)
