I'm having a day...

Amongst my reasons for skipping Border War today is the fact that I've got a strange vesicular rash over some of my joints. It's odd - true blister-like vesicles. And only over the jts - knees, elbows, knuckles. Not sure if it's an allergic reaction, viral, or something weird and auto-immune. But I'll stay home and not spread it around in case.

Cortisone cream is helpful, but apparently my subconscious thinks the best way to take my mind off it is to submerge a finger in boiling water so I have a burn to concentrate on, instead.

Rori is angling on toward nap time. Too bad I can't convince Anneliese to do the same, as I wouldn't mind one myself. *sigh*

stress will cause me to have the same reaction on the soles of my feet. You've been under a bit of that lately, so it's not surprizing.

Relax today. Mum tells me to do the same, feet and a weather related migraine are contributing to my sensitive mood.

Possible. But Rori has some marks on her feet. I'm suspecting virus.

I've been under arguably more stress in the past and not had these sorts of issues. Though 2nd year Vet school exams gave me hives.

My husband, feeling philosophical or something this morning, opined: "Well, 'Allah burdens no soul more than it can bear.' Though the line might be fine. Or, as we Methodists say 'When you feel about to crack, the Lord will either lighten your load or strengthen your back. But you don't get to pick which.'"

Are they tiny little dot sized water blisters? That then come to the surface and swell before popping? Then you've got a horrible red itching rash?

I had that all through college on my hands, after having excema all through my childhood. I've since learned that its what I get when I eat gluten, here are pictures.

I use "Butt Paste" baby diaper rash lotion on it, and it reduces the itching and helps the healing.

Well, nothing ruptured as yet. They tend to just flat regress.

Though the baby has little red marks all over the soles of her feet. I starting to suspect maybe Fifth's Disease or something like it.

Or, knowing my luck, Lupus.

Hey, can I pick your brain at some point on the regionality of waffenrock styles? Is there a difference between "Landsknecht" (sp?) and say, Bavarian, or Saxony, or such?

The hubs wants something new to fight in. Something not seen in our neck of the woods as a general rule. Something that his existing stainless kit can sort of be absorbed into. Besides, I'm so not into kampfrau.

Thoughts?

too much education gets you to believe it is something more. Probably heat rash, the non red one. I get that from time to time. Annoying...yes.
