Saturday was the MI Fiber Festival. A good time, as always, in good company. But Hot, OH was it HOT! This cut my enthusiasm and kept me from going back after things I was thinking about. Probably good in the long run. I was disappointed that both Ellen's 1/2 pint farm and Mielke's were missing this year. And the vendor selling Fleece Artist Fleece-lined Mitten Kits last year - didn't have any this year. So I got yarn for leg warmers and armwarmers for Boo. And a couple hats for Rori. And that's about it. Oh, and some nice Crystal Palace needles that were being Clearanced out.

Sunday we met Mom and Dad in Lansing for the Feis. Boo enjoyed watching the dancers and was quite delighted to be fitted for her very own pair of dancing shoes. She also got a couple pairs of poodle sox to wear with them (I restrained Grandma from trying to buy her the ones with rhinestones on them), and pick out a dance bag. I picked up two issues of a magazine, intending to cut out pictures to make her a book to get ready for dance class. However, she was so enamoured of them, I probably should download and print pictures, and let her keep the magazines!

Afterwards we went for Lunch. Dad tried to tell me how best to get to the restaurant, insisting that Saginaw runs Westbound. Having been on it an hour previously, I knew otherwise, but rather than argue, I had John take 496. ;-) Dad called my cell phone in a slightly embarassed panic to inform me that Saginaw is one way to the EAST. ;-) O, Rly? Heh.

At least this trip to Grandma and Grandpa's went better. Anneliese was a little better at eating for them, less aggravating all around, and everybody was happier. Though I still think a week would have been overkill.

I DID get her floor painted, though that's all, so far. At least that was the only part she really needed to be out of the house for!
