Too hot to do much today. Except note that I have an empty slate frame. I wonder what I should put in it.

We made a brief foray to the farmer's market. Everything is ripening all at once. Hopefully I can get out to a u-pick farm this week. Raspberries at the market - $4/pt. U-pick - $3.30/qt. Yeah....

I'm trying to overcome the impulse to build a wood-fired oven in the back yard.

Wheat and barley is almost ready for threshing. The wheat didn't do well, but the Barley appears to have gone gangbusters.

Acquire wheat and/or oat (preferably both) straw for the Sooper Seekrit project.

Make the duct-tape dummy so I can get pictures for the Dutch gown article.

Find my bolt of muslin ?!? so I can draft out the saxon dress and stuff for John. Possibly I just need to buy another bolt.

Get John's fighting shirt pleated.

Finish the whitework coif.

Fiddle around with the shape for the Saxon coif.

Shop Dharma trading for a bolt of voile. I just need too much and I don't feel the local stuff is sheer enough for what I want.

Find a copy of the Threads article on standing collars.
