Not a lot to show, these days...
Jul. 24th, 2010 09:20 pmIt rained yesterday morning, and there was a heat advisory for the afternoon. So... we skipped the Fair and went down to Troy for a shopping run. I LIKE the trundle unit with the Pottery Barn collection. BUT their "white" isn't white. Undoubtedly for the purpose of preventing people from using their furniture with other furniture. Which is annoying. So, the hunt continues for another trundle unit. Preferable one that will lock it's casters, to prevent Anneliese from trying to stuff Rori under the bed.
It's not that hot, but it's almost unbearably sticky. I can get about 30 minutes of work on Linsey's tote bag before I'm dripping. So far, I have the the bag, lining, pelton, and fusible web cut out. Just the plain interfacing and piping to go. Blerg. Still, On, Charlie, On!!
At least it's an excuse for not cutting out John's new 'rok yet. I'd rather he had his armor picked out and available to fit over, anyway. That way, no adjustments later. Well, not as many.
I DO wish we had AC in the whole house - it would make getting a little sewing done easier. Especially since I had the time, today. Rori got no nap yesterday, and we didn't get home till around 10:30. So she went down for a nap at around 12 and didn't get up till 4:30.
