Shoppin' and Bakin'

Interestingly, Vanderveen's has small containers of speculaas spice (in case anybody out there wants some), rather than the ginormo container at De Reuze's. The also have speculoos spread (as near as I can tell, a creamy spread flavored with speculaas spices.), and ground galangal, of all things. But no bakers' ammonia.
Currently I have some perioid pepernoten in the oven. We shall see.
Rori is busily NOT napping right now. I'd have thought she was just toast when I put her down. I'm wondering how long to leave her up there before I give up on naps today.
I'd still like to do some more baking today if I get the chance.
