Hep me! I'm bored!

Well, not so much bored. But looking at a day shot to hell tomorrow. I'm chauffer for the hubs et al and a trip the Michigan Winter Beer Fest. Well and good. Tomorrow is a wash. But Sunday is MINE, and since I have to make bread, etc. I want to play.

Anybody have period manuscripts that involve pastry, baking, preserving, etc? Any language, I'll struggle through.

The French one is fun, though a bit late (I think it dates to 1675, if I'm reading it right).

What else ya got? ;-)
