I'm an odd creature. Joomla is easy. CSS not that hard. HTML makes me vaguely crazy. Wishin' I had access to a dummy XHTML file that I could use as the source code for my page/template. It would be a lot easier to alter than to create from scratch. Actually, I wish I had a Premium Lynda.com subscription so I could snag the example files from the class I've been watching and just use THAT.

Are you looking for a blank Joomla template to customize? i.e One that's all set up but you can tweak the CSS to make it what you want?

That is exactly what I'm looking for. ;-)

Like most people, my recognition is better than my recall. Therefore, editing is much easier than writing from scratch. 'Specially with Mozilla's Web Developer Toolbar.

You might like this one, its by JoomlaArt, and their templates are pretty easy to customize.
