Today has been an exercise in frustration with a parade of our more irritating clients and discover that I have once again gotten the shaft and am stuck working Border War Weekend. My bitchy co-worker is leaving to take care of her mother again. Which, on the surface I have no problem with. Except that I put this on the Calendar months ago. I am so mad I could spit - angry to nearly being in tears. Not because I need to go that badly. Just because I wanted ONE bloody weekend off in June specifically. And even though I work the bulk of the hours and carry this place... I don't get it because nobody else gives a rat's ass. As it is, I do half of her appointments because she's so GD slow. Or maybe just lazy, it's hard to tell. Certainly OCD and anal retentive.
I really, really want to be a Kept Woman when I grow up. *grump*
Tomorrow - bake Rori's cake first thing before it gets hot, then take her out shopping for her birthday present. Maybe a kiddie sprinkler, among other things. And some summer jammies.
