One thing that you may not know ... Meridies "grew up in an absolute vacuum. The closest group was the Barony of the Flame -- but there was no interaction there. We were part of Atenveldt -- and the King was in Arizona 2000 miles away. We developed our own traditions with virtually no input from anybody else in the SCA!
We do a lot of Strange Things (tm). Most all of our events are weekend (non-camping) events with full feasts (this is strange and unusual to folks coming from the West and Caid) -- and we will feed you VERY WELL!
... and we kill off our old crowns. Coronations can be disconcerting (?) to folks who ain't from here.
