Movies minus the mayhem

I took Anneliese to see Wall-E today. John had been pushing the idea for a couple of weeks. I'd been resisting - expecting it to be like last time with her trying to run around the theater, crying and screaming. Nope. Sat like an angel and enjoyed herself thoroughly. Probably would have sat through the credits, if I'd pushed it. Who knew? She even came home, told John what movie she's seen, said "I like Wall-E," and "Take Wall-E now?" Sorry, Peanut, one movie at a time.
I've also discovered that my insurance package sucks for maternity coverage. *sigh* Apparently, I've hit my "maximum" - so I get to foot the entire anesthesia bill. In addition to my deductible and copay. How it's possible to max out with an uncomplicated delivery, I'm not sure. But NOW (after the fact) I hear from the grapevine that this system is rotten for maternity coverage. *sigh*
At least I've gotten the offer for my new job - at more than I intended to ask for. (Yes, I undervalue myself in job negotiations. *shrug* What can I say?)
Now all we really need is a job for John. Which I've said before, ad nauseum. Still, sooner or later something will come up, right? Right? Hopefully one of his new leads will pan out soon. Heck, it'd be nice of the Pastor's wife would call back.
Baby is off and on a little cranky - I suspect still some of this growth spurt business. Though I was back in the Dr's office for my follow-up today and the staff stole her. They were amazed at how big she was for her age. Really? Hmmm.... I hadn't really thought so, but I don't have a lot of comparison. Still, at least she's not starving. ;-)
More later - baby crying.
