For the local crew, Fields' Fabrics (at least on 44th St) now carries a good selection of sizes of steel corset bones, some spring steel bones and extra caps, and some narrow hoop steel.

Just sayin'.

Boy do I need a nap. Or a vacation.

Maybe I'll buy a little piggy bank and start stuffing money in it as a vacation fund.

We will inevitably take a hammer to it to put new tires on the van or some such this fall, but it would make me feel as if I'm working TOWARD something.

Heck, maybe I'll just repurpose one of the one gallow carboys in the basement. Then I could see how much was in it. Hmmmm.... good idea? Or not?

well I wouldn't want to break the carboy but tipping it over works fine. Anything you can't immediately get your hands into works the best. Even better if it is sealed and opaque. Then you haz no clue how much you have in there and aren't tempted to touch it. Could try a trip to Mackinaw or something. take Boo to the Mystery spot. she'd think it a hoot trying to stand on those things. :)

So 44th st has boning. figures. Now that I don't need any (with yards and yards of spring steel in the basement) they finally have some. Only asked for it for 15 freaking years. Sigh....

What you really need is girl trip. End of Sept is out as well as the beginning of Oct (go live) so start lookin at the calendar Sis. You can always have John take the girls to Grandmas to hang for the weekend.

But a nap, lil xanax yeah that will help too in the interrim. Right now I'm just freshly showered from trying to de dust the storage area in the barn. It's 90+ and no good wind. Plus I was an idiot and didn't put hair up.

Maybe I'll look for a piggy bank at Michaels and paint it up. ;-)

I generally try to avoid Chemical Happy, on the grounds that if I'm feeling depressed, this is the Universe's way of telling me that something needs to change.

Heh. Well, we'll see. I'll try a little saving's program. Maybe I'll even look into Coinstar terms for their Visa cards.

I choose to think of it as a temporary pick me up. Sometimes the brain chemicals just get in a rut and do nothing more but spiral us down. Got me out of verge of tears daily for months.

Its that Dutch hard work attitude you know that is getting to you again. No can't be depressed must be just lazy....work harder. ppppphttt
