Ah, Marlenie is back, and has emergency duty for the next two nights. Wooohoooo!!!!!!!!! Hubby wanted to make me a margarita tonight - but I'd have been asleep in it. So he grilled me a steak instead.
The Interminable Dragon Project (I've invented a new name for it, 'Laina.) continues. Mine will be done. If needed, I might even be able to squeeze in a few more. Though I'm trying to finish up the County scrolls on my board. *sigh* Working on real parchment in Coastal humidity is a B#$@@%#h.
Learning points for the day:
1. I have come to the conclusion that in order to own an animal, you OUGHT to have to be smarter than said animal. This would cut my client base in half. But I'd be a lot less aggravated.
2. When even your boss tells you that you need to get a life, it might be worth a little musing on the subject, at least. Not sure what to do about it, however.
3. Replacing the batteries in my space/time continuum generator seems to be my new quest. Where HAVE all the hours in a day gone?
4. Putting things in a safe place is always a bad idea. Somehow, I've lost track of the TWO (identical, naturally) black binders containing the Pictorial Dictionary of Heraldry and my copy of Friese Persoonsnamen. BOTHER. Ary has a question that could probably be answered by the latter, and I suspect if I could find ONE I could find the other. As it stands, they're both MIA.
Well, off to bed and looking forward to my first weekend off in almost a month. *happy sigh*
