Two points, for the win!
Sep. 17th, 2010 07:24 amThe hubs made points the other night. Like most guys, his deliberate attempts at compliments are usually a little flat - he's trying too hard, and it's just not that believable. It's when he says something in passing, and doesn't realize what he's saying, that he really goes over the top.
We were sitting down for a reprise of "Dhoom 2" (I know, I know, but all in all - not a bad little flick).
Here's a sample:
We'd been discussing genetic bottlenecks, migration patterns, mitochondrial DNA (it's just summpin' we do...), and markers that reveal the order in which parts of the Eurasian continent were colonized. And he turns and looks at me and says, "You know, that makes sense. I can see a lot of the same features. The more I look at her, the more I see you."
O_o And thus, my husband has just compared me to Aishwarya Rai - often referred to as the most beautiful woman in the world. Miss World 1994. 40+ movies to her credit. Regularly makes lists of the most beautiful women in whatever category is being annalyzed.
( Here she is )
Heh. I R now motivated to get back into the yoga groove.
And I think I maybe need to take John in for an eye exam. Eventually
