I really didn't get any cleaning done. But we did get a stove guard to keep little fingers off the burners. Unfortunately, the oven lock we bought fell off the first time I heated to oven to 400 deg. So much for heat resistant adhesive, eh?
I also managed to make a GF Tres Leches cake. I used the recipe here:
http://www.artofglutenfreebaking.com/2010/05/tres-leches-cake-gluten-free/
with a couple very minor adjustments. I used the box of gluten free flour Mom had gotten me (which had guar gum), vanilla sugar, and almond extract. I also used most of the milk mixture, rather than discarding a lot of it. I think it will be even better after it sits a day or so in the fridge, but it's very good now.
I have John's waffenrok cut out, and large sections assembled. Which is more work than it sounds. I don't have a serger, so I zig-zagged the edges. Plus, I've pieced the 200" circumference skirt for it... which has pieced stripes in it as well. I've also pieced the center panel for the front and back. It's going to be faux puff-and-slash, so right now it's large pieced stripes.
Then... I ran out of black thread. (And used half of the red spool. Both were new. Both were large spools). Now, usually, if I want white thread I can only find black. And vice versa. Though this time, I thought I was OK... black thread = work on 'rok. White thread = work on kits for RUM. This time? All I can find is blue or green. So, let me just say this:

Very Funny. Now, Knock it off!!
I'm very tired, and it feels much later than it really is. I intend to go to bed shortly after Anneliese does.
