Today's List
May. 4th, 2008 11:19 amStill madly trying to get a few things accomplished. On the list for today:
-Go get new blinds and drapery rod for nursery, and get them hung!
-Get plain onesies, baby wash, lotion, and a box of wipes
-Take the Muffin out to a park or other place for some play-time. She's earned it.
-Get new twin vinyl sheet for the Muffin's bed and get THAT in place. She's pretty good, but not entirely trustworthy. And the last one ripped at the corner a few days ago.
-Fold more laundry. Wash more laundry
-Open up some of the bottles/storage system/pacifiers and wash and then sterilize. Seal the sterile pump into a ziplock baggie. It'll save time.
-Get more pacifiers - maybe different shapes.
-Try to find old baby clothes in garage and triage for what's still usable.
-Nap? Maybe? Boo permitting.
-Write note for Boo's teachers in re: getting a new list of the Early Childhood/ASD students from Grand Valley who'll be around for the summer and willing to provide "respite care" (read here - "baby-sit" - but in a way they can put down on their resumes ;-)
I'd like to get some soil in the other raised bed and get it prepped to put in a small garden. But that might be pushing a bit. I should at least decide what other herbs I want in the herb garden. Or a couple of tomato plants, maybe. My rosemary appears to have died over the winter. And I pulled my "peppermint" because it smelled more like catmint.
I DID talk Darling into forgoing monkeying around with birthday/mother's day/anniversary stuff. I'm not in the mood. Even shopping doesn't have any appeal. I'd rather just shelve it until later. At least now I don't have to worry about him trying to take me out for a fancy dinner I won't eat, etc., etc.
