Bandwagon!

Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now.
Day Ten: One confession.
Day One:
1. DoOd. Your favorite topic of conversation is something I am mortally tired of hearing about. Stop. Now.
2. For all the same reasons you had, and a few more, Oh Pot who is calling the Kettle black.
3. Pets are a privilege, not a right. If you can't afford them, you probably shouldn't have them. And whining at me won't change that.
4. Child! Try speaking English! You'll be amazed at how much more amenable the world becomes.
5. If you are wondering why your children have made the decisions they've made... maybe try a mirror.
6. I love that you want to be good at what you do, but the constant need for affirmation is more than a little wearing.
7. When the bloody phone rings - ANSWER IT!
8. The world, does not, in point of fact, owe you a living. Nor anything else, for that matter.
9. Ah, the gentle pitter patter of ivory-tower condescension... Get over yourself. I'm pretty sure I'm smarter than you are to start with, and that I can take care of myself, TYVM.
10. For someone who supposedly does this for a living, the example I've seen is piss-poor at best. Either do it better or step aside and let someone else do it.

Dec. 13th, 2010 10:57 pmI do like the concept of the sock clubs for knitters - every so often you get an exclusive pattern and dyed yarn in the mail with accompanying goodies.
Though if ever I find a day where money is more or less no object and I have time to knit consistently, this looks like a neat sort of concept:
