I'm leaning toward the Villeroy and Boch Country Heritage. It's likely to be available for a while (which I worry about with sets from Pottery Barn and Sur la Table who change out their stuff a lot. And it's got that "ironstone" feel. Plus is microwave and dishwasher safe. According to online reviews, also fairly durable.
I did also replace my blender this weekened. We will not speak of my discovery that the old one could have been repaired for the cost of an $8 doodad, had I not run into an ignorant dealer. The new one is still a KitchenAid (Macy's had a 40% off sale), but is from the Martha Steward collection. Just cause I liked the vintage green color.
Do we see a trend here? ;-)
I'm still in vague mourning over having not bought the pale pink milk pasteurizer on e-bay earlier this spring.
