Heat and Laziness

femkes_folliesThe wicked heat wave continues. It's not that bad - just such a shock from a week ago. Normally we get some sort of transition, rather than furnace running one week and AC the next.
It's sort of sapping my sewing ambition. I don't mind taking stuff to work, since there is AC there - though it's not terribly efficient, and my car is much cooler. But at home it's just too hot right now.
Even having the lap top on my lap is uncomfortable. Gotta look into a cooling mat or something.
At least that means I went to bed at a decent hour last night. And, since John had cleaned the filter on the AC, a nice cool room. Caught up on the Zzz's.
Therefore, if the Lazies do not overtake me today, more work on the whitework cap and some on the Saxony article.
