I can't remember where anybody lives on my f-list.

Does anybody do the Cleveland Museum of Art regularly?

I need some detail photos, provided the museum allows photography. :-( Last time I was there, 7? years ago, I didn't ask.

They allow photography if the room you are in does not contain works belonging to other museums.

Looking for the portrait of Matrecht Sujis? (Or however her name is spelled) :)

Actually, more in the nature of detail shots of Cranach's Hunting Near Hartenfels Castle. Of both some of the male and female figures. The Museum website doesn't have a Zoom feature that really lets you see them. There are a couple on flick, but really don't pick out any of the men. The most interesting figures being around the edge in the bottom half.

I'm considering coordinating "honey garb" for the hubs and I - in more of a "Upper Class Day Wear" Saxon - as opposed to the gold-soaked court costume.

Love that painting! I've spent many an hour looking at the details but never bothered photographing b/c it's not a period I'd been interested in trying to re-create ;)

Cool; dunno if it's on display currently, if it is I'll get ya some pics. :) (Provided it is in a room where photos are allowed, of course, they've moved everything around with the remodeling.)

If you get the chance, I'd be very grateful! ;-)

I know all about remodeling and moving stuff - the Muskegon Art Museum loves to do that to me. It took me an hour to find the portrait of Katharina von Bora last time. And the Durer etchings had been rotated into storage and out of the light for a while.

Que sera, sera.

I'm in one of my "The more out of the norm, the better" modes. I might just have to do one of the light blue gowns with black guards, if I can find some nice baby blue wool. And maybe a tiny one for the little mite, who already has the requisite sausage curls!
