So today promises to be loooonnnnggggg. Two spays, a set of puppies for tails and dewies, and an afternoon full of appointments. Stop by Lucia's and see if I can help straighten out her Florentine bodice. I suspect the ribbons and other additions that went onto the lining to support the front lacing are causing the issues, but we'll see. Hopefully be home in time to snuggle my little one before sending her off to bed. At least I have tomorrow off, even though I do have to work Saturday at our other clinic.
I REALLY need to get the private commission AoA off my scribal desk post-haste. And find out what in the @#$(&@(% has happened to the parchment I ordered almost three weeks ago. THEN I can start on the County Scrolls. Apparently my reputation precedes me, whether it ought to or not. I was contact yesterday by a Laurel in Russian costuming who wants to commission his patent. His apprentice is the lady I did a Court Barony piece for at 12th Night. I'm hoping HE has some nice exemplars, because the biggest pain in my keister was finding something to work from. And I'm sure I haven't seen anything elaborate enough for a peerage piece. I did let him know I'd put him in me queue behind the County scrolls. Whenever did I acquire a queue?
My poor cancer kitty has an infection at his surgery site again. *sigh* I can't tell if one of the other kitties bit him, or if this is just tissue so unhealthy it sort of disintigrated unassisted. He was hiding yesterday, so I dragged him out from under the bed and gave him some doxy. This morning he must be feeling better, since he came out to solicit attention. I hope this resolves, as I'm not quite ready to lose him yet. Not that that has anything to do with it, of course. But things had been going so well for the last month.
