So today promises to be loooonnnnggggg. Two spays, a set of puppies for tails and dewies, and an afternoon full of appointments. Stop by Lucia's and see if I can help straighten out her Florentine bodice. I suspect the ribbons and other additions that went onto the lining to support the front lacing are causing the issues, but we'll see. Hopefully be home in time to snuggle my little one before sending her off to bed. At least I have tomorrow off, even though I do have to work Saturday at our other clinic.

I REALLY need to get the private commission AoA off my scribal desk post-haste. And find out what in the @#$(&@(% has happened to the parchment I ordered almost three weeks ago. THEN I can start on the County Scrolls. Apparently my reputation precedes me, whether it ought to or not. I was contact yesterday by a Laurel in Russian costuming who wants to commission his patent. His apprentice is the lady I did a Court Barony piece for at 12th Night. I'm hoping HE has some nice exemplars, because the biggest pain in my keister was finding something to work from. And I'm sure I haven't seen anything elaborate enough for a peerage piece. I did let him know I'd put him in me queue behind the County scrolls. Whenever did I acquire a queue?

My poor cancer kitty has an infection at his surgery site again. *sigh* I can't tell if one of the other kitties bit him, or if this is just tissue so unhealthy it sort of disintigrated unassisted. He was hiding yesterday, so I dragged him out from under the bed and gave him some doxy. This morning he must be feeling better, since he came out to solicit attention. I hope this resolves, as I'm not quite ready to lose him yet. Not that that has anything to do with it, of course. But things had been going so well for the last month.

ah, but my freaking package finally showed up from Fredericks. THe girls just wanted something new to wear. A month. That's ridiculous. The samples from Dharma and the inserts from Quoin have come within the week I ordered them.

Yeah. I'm at the moment chalking the delay in the parchment up to the fact that it's a custom job. I called on a Friday? I think. He said he'd have it cut on Monday, then asked if I was going to work both sides or only wanted one side prepped or what. Hopefully it's just that he's trying to do a nice job on it, since I promised to recommend him to other calligraphers if I was pleased. Apparently he hasn't really gotten to tap into that market yet.

'Nother rough day at work yesterday. Included yet another terminal cancer and a kitty with a very nasty tibial fracture. Best I could do was try to splint the snot out of it and hope he leaves it alone.

Let me know what all you want me to bring along on Wednesday and what time you want me. ;-)

When do you want to come over? I'll be up and ready by 9am.(animals fed etc) I've got the coutil for the lining, some muslin for another try and the fabric is sitting ready to be ironed. And a couple of zippers to try.

Bring over fabric you want for a persian. We can cut that out and whip it up too. Started cutting out the fancy fabric yesterday.

So John isn't doing Yoga? Of all people he could probably benefit the most of us. Paul's already up to 32 min and the cooldown.

How about whenever I get up and moving? *g* Usually I put Boo on the bus around 8:15. So probably 9:30ish.

I sent along the fabric I'd sort of been considering for a Persian with Wendy Sue in case Harley wanted it. I figured she had the greater need. I'll wear my Dutch outfit. Probably one of the few chances I'll get before it gets too hot.

John might consider it if I'm not around, but I'm not sure. And really, he'd need a much less intensive disc. A beginning yoga or maybe the Power Yoga: Flexibility one.

m'kay :)

Paul could use a beginning one too, but he is doing well and adapting to the intermediate one. I think Rodneys voice is just on the tip of what he can hear.
