I'm not really a Summer....

I HATE being hot. REALLY hate it. And I REALLY hate working at the Shelby office with no A/C. I nearly melted on Wednesday. Apparently it now HAS A/C, so I'm less whiney about working tomorrow.
So to take my mind off it I've been image-surfing again:
This would be a fun Court outfit. 'Laina, if ever I'm Queen, I want one of these on order ;-):

Another van Leyden I hadn't seen. I'd like to compare it to his other "Lot and his Daughters" if I could find a decent detail of _that_

Darling might need one of these. Especially now that he's been visiting the gym twice daily:

If I thought I could pin down the muffin long enough...

Though this might be the underlayer for Anne of Cleves' headdress?
Nifty woodcut of a man's costume. Again, wonder what Darling would make of it.

Another version of the Cleves headdress?

Wheeee!!! A Dutch lace cap. And I found it all by my own self.

And the artist herself (with what looks like ANOTHER lace cap):

I luuurrrrvvvveee this portrait, especially in close up. The lace cap is a lot like the one I'm working on. And the detail on the closure on the hemd is phenomenal.

Back view of the Dutch headdress. Now I know how long that sheer layer is in the back:
