Baby is fed, and put down. I THINK she's going to go back to sleep, so I'll take a moment to update while I wait to see for sure.

I see Project Runway is about to start it's next season. I should check with the gal who was looking into the site for us. I'd also come up with a couple of additional format ideas. One involved getting a commitment from the Queen and a list of periods and colors, as well as measurements. Then having everybody do something for HER, and letting her choose the victor - plus some additional awards from a judging panel. A la the PR challenges where, say, Banana Republic sponsors a challenge and manufactures a garment, and so gets to pick the winning design. And, after all, dressing Royalty is sort of the ultimate show-offy SCA moment in many ways. This might give folks who haven't gotten that kind of notice yet the chance to do so.

I'd also thought about a "Pink is Period" themed challenge. Make a garment that is pink - but document that the garment in question might have been found in that color.

Ruminate, ruminate.

Hopefully tomorrow's weather will be good. John wants to take Anneliese to the beach (her favorite thing EVAH.) I think I will stay home with Baby Rori. I need to ask her pediatrician about sunblock. And I don't think the heat is a good idea. Nor is she old enough for a dip in the lake yet.

Dad also asked me about a baby toy that sounds like an exersaucer. I'll also need to ask about that. I never used one with Anneliese, as there seemed to be some doubt about their use and developmental hip issues. Not sure what the stand is these days. Will have to ask the Doc.

Passed MY recheck with flying colors. Don't need to go back for a year. So I won't meet the new partner for at least that long. I'm really delighted that my OB is finally taking on a partner/associate. It has GOT to be wearing to be on call 24/7. Delighted that I was to have him there to deliver my baby - he looked like death warmed over. The "new" guy looks to be in his late 40's or so. I suspect he's been in a successful city practice, and now wants to move out onto the lakeshore. Good news for us. Interestingly, he's a D.O., which I find somewhat uncommon among OB's. It'll be interesting to see how he fits into the practice.

Off for sleepies. 'Night all.
