Today is Made of Win
Jul. 31st, 2009 03:20 pmWe may have happened upon the Right Car in the person of an older Audi A6 with relatively low miles. It's a lot of car for the money, and AWD would be a big plus, especially after last winter's adventures in rolling vehicles.
Better still, after coming to grips with the cost of a new car, it turns out there was some money left in the BIL's estate after all. Not a lot. But possible enough to help deal with the car issue, pay off a few things, sock a little away - and possibly be totally irresponsible and take a little vacation. WOO HOOO!
Hopefully the Magic Fairy Dust situation will continue.
It is giving me cause to hope, as I've scarcely dared to before, that everything will start to come right soon. By no means are all of our troubles over. But it's a place to start. Maybe John will even be employed before it's all said and done.
