Charter Cable is teh Suck

For a lot of reasons. A disagreement about whether we would pay for the entire month and get refunded for the portion after we discontinued cable service or get a refigured bill culminated in them threatening to cut off our phone and internet service on the 24th. And then actually cutting it off on the 17th. Which is what happens when you deal with a company in bankruptcy that doesn't care about customer service anymore.
So - AT&T will be out to install the new phone/internet connection on Thursday. There will be a new number. If you've tried to call and got a funny message, that's why.
If only we could figure out how to get the wireless router working with the city wireless. And somehow boost the signal enough to pick it up in the basement. *sigh* Tech stuff. So not my bag.
