I have got the basic operating concepts of Joomla! worked out. I have installed the module that disables right-click copy - though not enabled it yet, as I have to port all my content over.

Meantime, I have acquired an 8 GB flash drive, installed Portable Apps, and a Portable HTML/CSS editor, Mozilla Firefox with Web Developer Bar, and Portable Gimp.

Custom templates, here I come!

I really don't understand the point of disabling right clicks, people can still take screen captures. Not as convenient, but works especially with flash (i.e. soterby's!)

The issues I've had are with one particular individual who pretty much claims ingorance. I think this version of the module also disables the Ctrl-C/Crtl-V option. So she'll have to retype everything. IN general, she's a lazy snot, and probably can't be bothered.

It keeps honest people honest. Anybody that determined to get around it, certainly can. But not with any ability to claim ignorance - if you've gone to that much trouble, you're deliberately copying something, thankyouverymuch. You want that image - either ask me nicely, go find it yourself, of take a screen shot and edit down, wherein you'll lose some of the quality.

...ya know though, the click disable thingy is easy to get around
yes, I'm one of those horrible types that like to archive everything I find of possible use (mainly photos or scans of items of interest)

I know, though I think this module takes care of the keyboard shortcut, as well. Leaving only screen shots, really.

The person I've had issues with is probably too lazy, and certainly won't be able to claim ignorance of intellectual property if she goes to all that trouble to steal material.
