For those who've been asking....

femkes_follieswhat I'd like for my birthday. I present, a list:
1. A job for Darling.
2. See #1
3. See #1, plus insurance to cover the DMRAD he ought to be on.
4. An upswing in prospects for the Muffin - more independence, more ability to communicate, etc. Improvements both in her hearing, which might be iffy - nobody is sure, and her eyesight - which is apparently impaired to some degree on the left.
5. A turnabout in the way life is going that allows us to start to NOT live paycheck to paycheck, get a little ahead, and actually start doing the things we'd LIKE to do. And also let me get out from under this Emergency duty and cut my hours.
6. A new place to live and general return to normal for Michaela, as well as a new more affective treatment for HER RA. Successful sx to restore hearing for Paul. Confidence and joy for Tasha and a career that allows her to both provide for AND enjoy her son. A benign histopath report for Ziggy (Yeah, got that one marked off!). Clarity and a smooth transition for Kelly and her family, as well as a quick sell for her house so they can be together as a family. A new job for Mom where the mental stress from unscrupulous management doesn't wear her right down. I could go on, and on for all the people who frankly need good karma more than I do.
7. About 6 extra hours in every day, so I can get stuff DONE.
Oh, you mean material STUFF sort of things???
1. About 220 points in the DVC. 420 if you're feeling generous.
2. A bigger house.
3. A brick-fired oven in the backyard of said larger house.
Oh, REASONABLE things? *g*
Fine:
1. A preorder for the new Harry Potter book so it arrives on my doorstep on its release date.
2. Anything from my Amazon Wish List
3. Some nice embroidery silk. I'm about out. Love the hand-dyed stuff, but as it isn't period should probably stick with solids that mimic natural dye tones.
4. Fabric-related gift cards are always good.
5. Some new stitch markers for my knitting that will fit tiny sock needles. The honking things I have now fall off and hurt my toes.
That's about all that come immediately to mind.... I'm sure there's a lot of other stuff, but my mind is sort of elsewhere.
