Being Good

I'm trying to finish a few things up around here, rather than start on anything new. ;-) Read here: doin' the "gotta", instead of the "wanna."

So far, all three of the bunk beds have at least one coat of paint, while one has two. Note to self: harass Dad about not sanding out the saw marks. :-/ That job, BTW - took about 3 hours. Tomorrow, I'll put the final coat on. Later tonight I'll work on the bedding. Maybe I can get that finished up, too. Or at least mostly so.

Anneliese is on the couch watching Veggie Tales - giggling at the StuffMart. (Which is an improvement over sobbing at Ponyo, really)

I'm going to sit for a while and give my poor back a break. I have some more E-mails to send, getting all the class titles and descriptions for RUM, so I can send a preliminary schedule to Sarafina, maybe by next week?

OK, so not only did the bunyas eat my barley, it appears that the Great Bee Plague also contributed to the fact that my rose didn't get well pollinated. :-( I don't have very many hips. And wanted to do something with them. So, if anybody local sees any rose hips at the market, let me know?

While I'm being needy, let me know if you see any fabric store with a good selection of medievaloid cotton prints? Probably fat quarters or 1/2 yard cuts will do me, if you can point me at them. I prefer one-stop shopping, so I'm looking for a particular Fields' or JoAnns where there seems to be a proliferation. I really tend to gravitate toward those with a little metallic accent.
