SO I decided that instead of just picking a challenge, I'd make out a list of the things I've been sort of planning to play with anyway. We'll see if that narrows it down any.

Dutch 1520's outfit, including hemd, undergown, overgown, apron, knotted silk hairnet, headpiece, partlet, gollar, and linen stockings with woven garters.

1550's Westphalia outift (haven't done enough research to even be sure WHAT layers I need, but....) Hemd, linen "corset," petticoat, skirt, jacket, hat.

16th century german "hunting" style deck of cards

Painted triptych on wood. Make gesso, make paints, paint in egg tempera and glazes.

Book of fairy tales - hand calligraphied, illuminated, and bound book of fairy tales from medieval sources.

OK, so I've been getting bombarded on all sides on the topic of the new A&S 50 Challenge. And we all know that I work better with goals of some sort.

So the question is, WHICH challenge for the butterfly brain?

Depth - 50 of one kind of thing? So....50 handsewn/embroidered items?

Breadth - 50 new skills....

Persona - 50 things my persona would have had or known how to do....
